Night Chronicles: Devil

Today, I told a really funny joke (I'm pretty corny, so I take pride in every chuckle I get)! I was working as an elevator attendant for an event and this guy gets in the elevator and asks...
"how's the elevator gig going?"
I responded...
"it has its ups and down."
**cue rim shot**
Anyways...that joke made me remember to post this movie trailer. Shyamalan brings us Devil, that puts five strangers on an elevator. This is a familiar formula: you place strangers in a situation that truly shows their human (possibly) [in]nature, fear of the unknown (and enclosures) and add a plot twist, but I am still excited to see the Devil. Hits theaters September 17th. You'll recognize some of the faces - Chris Messina (Julie and Julia, Greenberg), Geoffrey Arend (500 Days of Summer), Bojana Novakovic (Edge of Darkness, Drag Me to Hell), Logan Marshall-Green (Dark Blue) and Bokeem Woodbine (Saving Grace).
You can follow the films updates on M. Night Shyamalan's website at www.thenightchronicles.com/devil/.

Enough to Make You Bend Over Backwards in Fear

This has got to be the creepiest poster I have ever seen in my frickin life!

Lionsgate is distributing Eli Roth's latest production, The Last Exorcism. He has been tweeting about the movie a lot lately and I'm sure the Hostel director will deliver.

The movie is shot like a faux documentary chronicling a slick reverend's last exorcism gone-awry. I don't recognize any of the flick's players, but you might have seen the protagonist, played by Patrick Fabian, in "Big Love"

Exorcism hit theaters August 27th. For photos and the latest trailer, visit the website here.

I was one of those geeks that was really excited by all the hype around Paranormal Activity...and yes, I really liked it!

So imagine how anxious I was to present the trailer for the sequel! So much so that I decided to revert back to my blogspot. I was having too much trouble converting to a custom web address, thus ending that dream...for now (sorry for that tangent!).
